Aerotech reports $104M in new contracts, contract modifications

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Defense and security products company Aerotech Corp. says it has received $104 million in new contracts and contract modifications.

Aerotech said the awards were given to its training and simulation division and included more than $5 million in contracts for its Zone Acquisition Program software, which is embedded in operational fighter aircraft to support weapons use.

Orders for its Zone Acquisition Program software involves all company training and simulation business segments, it said.

"Our simulation division has been very successful in developing established customer relationships while adding new customers and new applications for our technology," said Robert S. Ehrlich, Arotech's chairman and chief executive officer. "The magnitude of these new wins and that fact that they are spread across the breadth of our operations, highlight the strength of our Training and Simulation Division."

Additional details of the contracts and the identity of the customers were not disclosed.
