VIENNA, Va., Jan. 5 (UPI) -- A-T Solutions Inc. has expanded its intelligence community technology business with the acquisition of Innovative Technology Systems of Colorado.
"Our primary mission is to deliver solutions that protect lives, infrastructure and nations against terrorist threats," Dennis Kelly, president and chief executive officer of A-T Solutions, said in an acquisition announcement.
"ITS has a strong record of success in developing and implementing compelling, innovative technology solutions for the intelligence and defense communities and their capabilities and people will be great assets to our organization and the customers we support in the U.S. and allied countries around the world.
"We will offer a broader range of technology solutions to better meet the rapidly and ever-changing needs of the organizations and individuals upon which the security of our nation and our world depends."
ITS, founded in 2003, provides technology services to the intelligence and defense communities in the areas of mission systems, software engineering and development, network services and mission assurance.
A-T Solutions, which has headquarters in Virginia, provides expertise in counter-terrorism and intelligence and offers comprehensive solutions to the broad network of intelligence, military, diplomatic and civilian organizations that are dedicated to fighting terrorism.
As part of the acquisition, the Colorado ITS office will become a program management and business operations center to support A-T Solutions' customers and business development activities in the Southwest Corridor as well as the West Coast and southern border regions.
