SANTA ANA, Calif. -- The Pacific Coast Athletic Association's 1984 football championship, forfeited by Nevada-Las Vegas because of the use of ineligible players, was awarded Friday to Cal-State Fullerton.

UNLV was forced to give up the championship when it was determined that the Rebels used 10 ineligible players during its undefeated season.

Because Fullerton's loss to UNLV was overturned, the Titans' official record for the 1984 season becomes 7-0 in conference play and 12-0 overall.

Fullerton also won the 1985 PCAA football title.
