SEATTLE, Feb. 17 (UPI) -- David Stolte, 30, is suspected to have been high on LSD when he broke into a couple's home while thinking he was Jack Bauer from the popular TV show 24.

Derek Doerschel and his fiancée Danielle Green came home Sunday to find their house a mess and Stolte hiding in the alley. Stolte had broken into their home, taken Doerschel's credit cards out of his wallet and stuffed them inside a chocolate muffin, left kitty litter in the sink, clothes in the bathtub and a frozen crab sitting in the closet.

When police questioned Stolte, he claimed he was Jack Bauer from Fox's action thriller 24. They suspect he was high on LSD.

This is not the first time Stolte has had a run-in with the law. He also had trouble with authorities after running outside naked, breaking a bus window and "planking" in middle of the road.
