Facebook app says when you should get married

Because Valentine's Day just isn't depressing enough.

NEW YORK, Feb. 12 (UPI) -- There is a new Facebook app by Time magazine that lets people figure out what age they should be married by based on their friends' statistics.

The app, with permission, looks at a person's profile information to see which of their friends are married and then calculates the median age for when they got married. It will then use the person's age calculated with the median age to find out when they should get married by to keep up with their age group.

There are some holes in the data as many people do not post their relationship status on Facebook or make their birth year visible. "Many people who are not in a serious relationship simply do not list a relationship status," says Time's website, "As a result, the percentage of married friends that this app reports is probably lower than the actual figure, though not by a huge margin."

All people need to do is take this test and use a bra that knows the "true love rate", and they are on their way to algorithmic wedded bliss.
