The shelter gave her antibiotics to fight the infection, and are constantly cleaning and dressing her wounds. Veterinarians would like to check for a tumor but are waiting for her to regain strength. Authorities at the rescue center refuse to euthanize her and are determined to save her life.
The dog is doing well and eating on her own.
