Seattle Seahawks top NFL power rankings following Week 13

Panthers, Broncos, Patriots and Saints round out Brian Billick's top five.

Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Super Bowl-winning head coach Brian Billick has released his NFL power rankings following the conclusion of Week 13 in the NFL and Seattle Seahawks fans have reason to be pleased for the second straight week.

Billick once again has the Seahawks occupying the top spot following their 34-7 dismantling of the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football. The FOX Sports NFL game analyst rounds out his top five with the Carolina Panthers (No. 2), Denver Broncos (No. 3), New England Patriots (No. 4) and Saints (No. 5).

Other notable teams include the Detroit Lions moving up four spots to No. 10 following their win on Thanksgiving over the Green Bay Packers, and the Miami Dolphins jumping seven spots to No. 15 after their win over the New York Jets.

On the other end of the spectrum, the Atlanta Falcons (No. 28), Washington Redskins (No. 29), Jacksonville Jaguars (No. 30), Cleveland Browns (No. 31) and Houston Texans (No. 32) now are ranked as the bottom-five teams in the league, at least according to Billick.

At least one person wasn’t too pleased with latest edition of the NFL power rankings.
