Dec. 3 (UPI) -- During the Steelers Thanksgiving night showdown against the Ravens, rookie running back Le'Veon Bell had his helmet knocked off and appeared to be knocked out during the fourth quarter of the Ravens 22-20 win over the Steelers.

Bell, who rushed 16 times for 73 yards and one touchdown and caught seven passes for 63 yards, suffered a concussion and admitted on Monday that he didn’t remember the play where he got injured. "I don't remember the exact play," Bell said. "I didn't remember it when it first happened. Once I came off the field I didn't really know I had scored. Then they told me I did; then they told me it wasn't a touchdown. I wasn't aware of what was going on at the time because I got hit. I can't really remember what happened."

Bell ran during Monday's practice and hopes to play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.

"I feel good. I felt like I started to feel better the next day," Bell said. "After the hit I was out of it a little bit, but the next day I woke up and was feeling better and have felt progressively better each day."

It sounds as if Bell will get his wish.

On Tuesday, head coach Mike Tomlin said Bell "looks good" and that he is progressing through the NFL’s concussion protocol.

Bell’s return isn’t the only controversial issue swirling around the Steelers this week:
