Dec. 1 (UPI) -- After failed development deals and a 2011 reality show, Roseanne's Nuts, it seems Roseanne Barr has had enough of the industry that made her famous.

The 61-year-old actress and comedian launched into a long-winded Twitter rant on Saturday, spurred by her frustration with television executives and one unnamed showrunner in particular.

"I'm never going to work in television again. I'm never going to even attempt it. I feel as if I've been insulted/assaulted for over a year," Barr tweeted. "Actually, for many years-from my first reality show to my second and two failed development deals. Don't call me-I won't call you. I'm gone."

"I don't have the emotional stability to withstand being manipulated and lied to anymore-now that I'm old," she added.

"Development process went like this: show runner disappeared for 7 weeks-never returned any calls from me-I was told she 'goes in2 a cave,'" Barr said of an unidentified series.

I was also told that this was 'her process'-and that the result would be fantastic. I asked why I had been removed totally from the process. They had less than no interest in including me in the development of a show that was built on 'my brand'. It was horrible, but I kept on bc I had 2 C it thru-out of a bizarre interest in the insane outcome. The script didn't resonate with me-I tried 2 b kind about it. There were hardly any jokes in the script, and I didn't connect with the characters at all. My family told me 2 quit-I kept on trying.

Barr's last sitcom pilot, Downwardly Mobile with former Roseanne star John Goodman, was picked up by NBC last summer but failed to make it to the network's fall TV lineup.

Barr then vowed to take her next project to the Internet -- a series about the television development process -- before admitting to "mental health issues."

Though Barr wrapped up Saturday night with a warning to herself -- "no more drunk tweeting late at night for me!" -- she continued to bash Hollywood on Sunday.

"Hollywood's always trying to kill their own stars-whether creatively or physically-burying them under psychic stress, greed and gas lighting," she said. "Forgot! the sexism and classism of hollywood is matched by its racism and homophobia-all of which is dwarfed by its psychopathology."

She left social media users with this parting promise:

"I'm writing directing editing & starring in my new show by myself. F*** everybody," she added.
