Nov. 12 (UPI) -- If there's one thing this world needs, it's more Ryan Goslings.

In honor of your imaginary boyfriend's 33rd birthday, meet Grant Hazell, a 35-year-old Australian who told The Sun last week that he's often mistaken for the Canadian actor.

“[One woman] told me she had seen all my movies and that she was in love with me,” he said. “When I said I wasn’t actually him, she didn’t believe me. It was a surreal conversation.”

Another woman even began stalking him on Facebook in the misguided belief that he was Gosling under a different name.

Hazell, who lives in Perth with his wife, Caroline, and two kids, was a full-time police officer until Caroline convinced him to send his photo to a talent agency. He now pulls in $320 each night as a professional Gosling impersonator.

"He's a cool guy and a great actor," he said. "It's not a bad thing to look like one of Hollywood's most wanted men."

"I'm lucky that it comes quite naturally," he added. "I frown a lot, which helps."
