Taylor Kinney, Lady Gaga dismiss breakup rumors with backstage kiss

An Instagram video of Lady Gaga kissing Taylor Kinney on Sunday dismissed rumors that the couple is broken up.

(UPI) -- Lady Gaga and her boyfriend of two years Taylor Kinney are not broken up.

The "Applause" singer and her actor boyfriend were spotted kissing backstage at the YouTube Music Awards Sunday, a day before British tabloid The Sun claimed the couple had called it quits over Gaga's busy lifestyle.

In a video of the kiss, posted on Instagram by former American Idol contestant Alex Ryan, Kinney and Gaga can be seen kissing and joking around with friends. It also appeared the pop star was wearing the same faux grin for the kiss that she wore during her performance of "Dope."

While The Sun claimed Kinney left Gaga over her "insane workload" and "alter-egos," a source close to the couple told Us Weekly that the rumors were simply "not true."
