The Country Music Association Awards announced its nominations Tuesday morning in a news conference with Sheryl Crow and Florida Georgia Line.
Taylor Swift is up for five awards, including Entertainer of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year, stacking up to 21 career CMA nominations and seven wins.
Newcomer Kacey Musgraves is also up for five, as is Blake Shelton.
Swift has won the awards' top honor, Entertainer of the Year, twice before. She is the only female nominee in that category for the 2013 CMAs, and is up against Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, George Strait and Luke Bryan.
Strait is beginning his farewell tour this year, and is expected to earn a nod from CMA voters.
Shelton, Aldean and Bryan will also compete for Male Vocalist of the Year, alongside Keith Urban and Eric Church.
Swift will go up against Musgraves, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson and Miranda Lambert for Female Vocalist of the Year.
The awards will be hosted by Underwood and Brad Paisley and air November 6.
