Banana Republic has teamed up with one of Kate Middleton's favorite designers, Issa London, for a capsule collection of looks the duchess would love.

Indeed, a version of the iconic blue wrap dress Kate wore in the the official photos for her engagement to Prince William is part of the collection, as is a black and white, sleeveless dress the duchess was spotted wearing.

And though the collection's release Saturday is perfectly timed, as it happens, the timing was pure serendipity.

"Obviously, it was all just destiny," said Banana Republic creative director Simon Kneen. "We started talking about [the collaboration] before we even knew Kate was pregnant, let alone when she was having the baby, so it all worked out."

The collection includes dresses of the wrap-tie, figure-flattering kind favored by the Duchess, in rich jewel tones and bold prints, plus wrap tops, cardigans, a tote, clutches, scarves, and jewelry.

Prices range from $22.50 for tights to $150 for the tote.

Banana Republic has had two successful collaborations with "Mad Men" and has a collection with L'Wren Scott in the works.
