Chad Kroeger says he'll honeymoon with Avril Lavigne until 'the day he dies'

Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger told a TMZ photographer that being married was "an amazing feeling" that he expects will last until the day he dies.

Asked about his new relationship status -- Kroeger married Avril Lavigne on July 1 -- and whether or not he was still in the "newlywed phase" the singer said that he was, adding that he plans to stay there perpetually.

Later, when the photographer inquired how he'd know when it was over, Kroeger gave a vivid answer.

"You know its over when there's a tombstone behind me," he said.
