Robin Thicke to headline Virgin's Free Festival in Maryland

Virgin has announced that Robin Thicke will be headlining this year's Virgin Mobil Free Fest which will take place in Maryland in the fall.

The free festival will be held on September 21 at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md. Other artists to be featured during the event include Vampire Weekend, the Avett Brothers, Pretty Lights, Robin Thicke, MGMT, Kaskade, City and Colour, Icona Pop, Chvrches, The Knocks, Black Joe Lewis, Sky Ferreira and Little Green Cars. In the dance forest, Madeon, Gareth Emery, Washed Out, Manufactured Superstars, Congorock, TJR and Ghost Beach.

Though tickets are mostly free, paying customers will be able to get them one day before the free ones are released, on August 8 via ticketfly.com. The rest will be come available for free on August 9. According to the USA Today, last year's 50,000 tickets sold out in minutes.

Virgin Mobil's FreeFest will be Thicke's only U.S. festival and East Coast performance this fall.
