When 7-year-old Luka Apps lost his Jay ZX Lego character after disobeying his dad's suggestion to leave it at home, he wrote to Lego asking them for a replacement. Soon after, a Lego consultant wrote back saying that Lego usually doesn't replace lost figurines for costumers, but that for him, they would make an exception.
Here's a transcript of the exchange that was posted on Twitter by Luka's dad, Simon Apps.
Lego's reply , made the 7-year-old literally jump from excitement, his father reported on Twitter. Luka wrote back to LEGO saying,
Hello Richard.
Thank you for talking to Sensei Wu for me.
I promise I will look after them.
– LUKA
Since Apps uploaded the story on Monday, it went viral on the internet and is being talked about all over the world. The grateful father made it a point to thank Lego for their great customer service.
