The preview shows He-Man (Wood) and Skeletor (Hamill) face off once again. The series also features Liam Cunningham as Man-At-Arms, Lena Headey as Evil-Lyn, Diedrich Bader as King Randor and Alicia Silverstone as Queen Marlena.

Revelation is a sequel to the animated series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, which aired from 1983 to 1985. The new series is executive produced by Kevin Smith.

Smith said Revelation will continue the story of the original series.

"We're playing with the original mythology and characters, and revisiting and digging deeper into some of the unresolved storylines," Smith said.

Revelation will be released in two parts, with Part 1 to premiere July 23 on Netflix.

Netflix shared the teaser as part of Netflix Geeked Week, a virtual event featuring news, trailers, live art and more for Cowboy Bebop, The Sandman, Resident Evil, The Witcher and other projects.
