Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Alicia Keys surprised fans by releasing a new song after the Grammys.

The 38-year-old singer shared "Like a Man," her first new song since 2016, after hosting the 61st annual Grammy Awards ceremony Sunday in Los Angeles.

"Tonight was such a musical night I decided to drop a new vibe & have some fun with y'all!!!" she said in an Instagram post.

"Like a Man" features piano and Keys' signature vocals. The song is an ode to good men and voices Keys' vulnerability.

"I'm just not like these other girls, I swear / I just have to love you / I just wanna need you if that's okay / And you're just not like these other men out here," she sings.

Keys last released the album Here in November 2016. She took the stage Sunday at the Grammys, performing a medley of "Killing Me Softly," "Unforgettable" and other songs she said she wished she had written.

"You know those songs that live inside of you and live inside of me, and you just love it so much, because it was done so well that you wish you wrote it. That's how I feel about these songs. I wish I wrote 'em," the star said, according to Rolling Stone.

Keys, a 15-time Grammy winner, was the first woman to host the Grammy Awards since Queen Latifah in 2005. She brought former first lady Michelle Obama, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga and Jada Pinkett Smith onstage during the event.
