Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Taylor Swift teases best friend Ed Sheeran in a new video on Instagram.

The 28-year-old singer jokingly accused Sheeran in a clip Wednesday of always trying to "elevate himself geographically" because of her height. Swift is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, while Sheeran stands at 5 feet, 8 inches.

"I just want to start by saying this is what he does," Swift said in the video. "He tries to elevate himself, just like geographically, so he can seem better than me. Experts will study this and say you're like... you're like, peacocking right now."

Sheeran, who perched on the top of a couch, explained he took a seat above Swift in order to appear taller.

"It's only because you wear [expletive] heels all the time," the 26-year-old singer said.

"Look what I did for you today!" Swift responded, lifting a leg to show her hightop sneakers.

Swift and Sheeran recorded the video on the set of their "End Game" music video, according to Billboard. The pair are close friends who previously collaborated on a remix of Swift's song "Everything Has Changed."

"We've gotten matching Scottish folds, made each other arts and crafts Christmas presents, vacationed with our families, and had each other's backs," Swift said of Sheeran in a March 2017 issue of Rolling Stone.

"He is the James Taylor to my Carole King and I can't imagine a time when he wouldn't be," she added.
