Last Christmas also features Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke. Emma Thompson and Bryony Kimmings penned the script, with Feig to serve as director and producer.

Golding celebrated Yeoh's casting by sharing a photo with the actress Thursday on Twitter.

"So, hold on... Let me get this right. @paulfeig is putting together Dame Emma Thompson, Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh AND the Queen of Dragons in one movie??!! #LastChristmasTheMovie is going to be ridonkulous," he wrote.

Last Christmas is described as a romantic comedy set in London. The movie centers on Kate (Clarke), a woman known for making bad decisions, who meets a man (Golding) who seems too good to be true.

Yeoh and Golding play Eleanor Sung-Yung and Nick Young in the film adaptation of Crazy Rich Asians, which opened in theaters in August. Warner Bros. is developing a sequel to the hit movie.
