March 2 (UPI) -- Nick Jonas' vacation took a romantic turn Wednesday in Australia.
The 25-year-old American singer and actor was photographed making out with a local woman, later identified as Annalisa Azaredo, during an outing in Sydney, according to E! News.
Jonas and Azaredo were spotted sharing a passionate kiss outside Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel after spending the afternoon together. Entertainment Tonight reported the pair went on a bike ride, grabbed drinks and relaxed on the beach.
"It's just a fling," a source told People.
Azaredo lives in Sydney and studied biomedical sciences at the University of Melbourne, according to TMZ. She deleted her Facebook and Instagram accounts after being linked to Jonas.
Jonas split from former Miss Universe winner Olivia Culpo in 2015 after two years of dating, and was later linked to actress Kate Hudson. He said in an interview with People in December that he's "too busy" for a relationship.
"It's not that I'm not pursuing love in some sense, but I'm just too busy right now," the star explained. "The time that I do have, I want it to be fun and casual and light and a non-stressful thing."
"I'm sure there will come a time when I'm ready to make a more serious commitment and be in a relationship ... but I'm thrilled to be able to keep things light at the moment," he added.
