"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry will host President and Mrs. Obama for dinner on Friday at Kensington palace," the post reads. "Their Royal Highnesses are very much looking forward to welcoming the President and First Lady to the Palace."

The president and first lady will attend lunch with Queen Elizabeth at Windsor Castle the same day. The monarch celebrates her 90th birthday on Thursday.

President Obama last saw Prince William during the latter's three-day visit to the United States in December 2014. Michelle Obama meanwhile, honored wounded veterans and promoted the Invictus Games with Prince Harry in October.

The Obamas will also meet with British Prime Minister David Cameron while in London. The couple's visit to England is part of a six-day trip to the United Kingdom, Germany and Saudi Arabia.
