BOSTON, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- A doctor who worked at Boston Children's Hospital and a school has pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography, federal court officials said.

The three charges of receiving and possessing child pornography carry a five-year minimum sentence.

Keller, who worked at Phillips Academy, had pictures and videos of boys engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

Some of the material was shipped to Keller at the school's student health center, the Boston Globe reported.

He resigned from the school after Phillips officials said they would not renew his contract in light of the federal case.

In 1999, Keller was reprimanded for using a school computer to access adult pornography.

In 2002, he showed an inappropriate cartoon to students, the Globe reported.

Keller also worked as a pediatric endocrinologist at Children's Hospital and taught at Harvard Medical School.

He surrendered his medical license after his arrest.
