PHOENIX, July 14 (UPI) -- Phoenix police said they were hunting for a 44-year-old man who allegedly doused his girlfriend with gasoline Saturday and set her on fire.
The 42-year-old woman, whose name was not released, suffered burns over more than 30 percent of her body, city police spokesman Trent Crump told The Arizona Republic.

Police said the woman got into an argument with her live-in boyfriend, identified as Ivan Rodriguez, when she returned home about 5 a.m. after a night out with a friend, the newspaper said.
Rodriguez allegedly poured gasoline on her and ignited it before fleeing in a car. Crump said authorities believe Rodriguez, who also is known as Silverio Gonzalez Trejo, suffered serious burns on his forearms, as well.
