NEW YORK, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Newt Gingrich may be leading Republican polls in the U.S. presidential race, but his sister, a gay rights activist, says she prefers President Obama.
Candace Gingrich-Jones said in an interview Wednesday on MSNBC she and her brother are "mutually respectful" when they meet, the New York Daily News reported. But she plans to "work really, really hard to make sure that President Obama is re-elected next year no matter who the Republican candidate is."
