TOPEKA, Kan., Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Republican Sam Brownback moves from the U.S. Senate to governor of Kansas with an easy election win over Democrat Tom Holland, results showed Tuesday.
Brownback was projected the winner after capturing 61 percent of the vote to Holland's 35 percent, followed by Libertarian party candidate Andrew Gray with 3 percent of the vote and the Reform Party nominee, Ken Cannon, with 2 percent, The Topeka Capital-Journal reported.
