Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Wigan winger Ryan Colclough had a terrific day Tuesday, scoring two goals and becoming a father for a second time.

Colclough, 22, found the net twice during Wigan Athletic's 3-0 win against Doncaster in a Football League One match at DW Stadium in Wigan. After his second goal, he celebrated by mimicking the holding of a baby.

Michael Jacobs scored the first goal of the match.

Colclough was subbed out of the game in the second half, three minutes after scoring his second goal. He ran down the tunnel and had no time to change out of his kit. He arrived at the hospital with 30 minutes to spare, according to the BBC.

"It was a great feeling," Colclough said, according to the BBC.

Harley Thomas weighed in at 8 pounds and 6 ounces.

"At half-time we got the message that his missus' waters had broken, his second child," Wigan assistant manager Leam Richardson told Wigan Today.

"As soon as the second goal he was off the pitch, because his head was somewhere else."

Wigan ranks second in Football League One with 39 points, trailing only Shrewsbury.

"Congrats to Ryan Colclough who scored a brace tonight in our win before being substituted to make it in time to see the birth of his son!" Wigan chairman David Sharpe tweeted.

The website Sky Bet is already offering bets for if Colclough's son will play for Wigan (200-1) or England (500-1).
