March 20 (UPI) -- Mohammad Anas might have had a Freudian slip after a recent Free State Stars soccer match.

The Ghanaian was conducted a postgame interview when he made the gargantuan blunder. The Free State Stars had a 2-2 draw with host Ajax Cape Town Friday at Athlone Stadium in South Africa.

"Firstly, I appreciate my fans. My wife and my girlfriend," Anas told reporters.

The 22-year-old then gave a double-take to the camera before correcting himself.

"I mean my wife – yeah, sorry to say, I'm sorry- I'm so sorry, my wife!"

Anas won the man of the match award for scoring both goals for his side.
