OKLAHOMA CITY, Nov. 1 (UPI) -- While the NFL tends to stay tame at the trade deadline, NBA front offices are always busy.
Jerami Grant contract is non-guaranteed for this season and in 2017-18. OKC will go $7.1m under the salary cap with this trade.

On Tuesday, the Oklahoma City Thunder acquired forward Jerami Grant from the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for Ersan Ilyasova and a conditional draft pick, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

Through two games this season, Grant, 22, has 16 points and seven rebounds. Last season he averaged 9.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. Zach Lowe reported that the Thunder are sending a "protected first" round pick for Grant.

Ilyasova has averaged 5 points and 5.3 rebounds per game in three games for the Thunder. He has averaged 10.6 points and 6 rebounds per game in his career.
