LOS ANGELES, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Blake Griffin piled up a season-high 40 points and grabbed 10 rebounds Saturday, hoisting the Los Angeles Clippers over Utah 98-90.
Griffin heated up in the second half, when he scored 26 of his total.

Chris Paul just missed a triple-double with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists as the Clippers extended their dominance of the Jazz with a seventh win in seven meetings.
Utah was led by Enes Kanter with a double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Marvin Williams and Richard Jefferson each contributed 15 points for the Jazz.
