NHL: Anaheim 5, Phoenix 2

ANAHEIM, Calif., Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Corey Perry put Anaheim in front to stay with two seconds left in the second period Wednesday, helping send the Ducks to a 5-2 win over Phoenix.

Anaheim, early season leader in the Pacific Division, won its third in a row and remained the only NHL team with a perfect home record. The Ducks have captured all six of their outings on home ice and their seven road victories are the most in the league.

Michael Stone scored for Phoenix on the power play to give the Coyotes a 2-1 lead with 7:20 to go in the second period and could not put another shot past Jonas Hiller.

Ryan Getzlaf's power- play goal tied it with 4:24 left in the middle frame and Perry then beat the horn with his go-ahead goal.

Cam Fowler and Andrew Cogliano added scores in the third.

Hiller stopped 24 shots, as did Mike Smith for the Coyotes. Phoenix had won five straight and a regulation win would have vaulted the Coyotes over both San Jose and Anaheim into first place in the division.
