BOSTON, May 11 (UPI) -- Adam Lind smacked a go-ahead homer in the ninth inning Saturday, boosting the Toronto Blue Jays over Boston 3-2.
Toronto held a 2-0 lead throughout much the contest but the Red Sox managed to tie it in the eighth when Jacoby Ellsbury delivered an RBI triple and scored on an error by Blue Jays shortstop Munenori Kawasaki.
Toronto quickly responded in the ninth against Junichi Tazawa (2-2) when Lind led off the frame with a blast to straightaway center field.
Darren Oliver (2-1) earned the victory despite allowing the tying runs and Casey Janssen pitched a scoreless ninth for his 10th save.
Melky Cabrera and Colby Rasmus also supplied RBI and starter Mark Buerhle tossed seven innings of one-run ball as Toronto evened its three-game series.
Clay Buchholz ended with a no-decision for the Red Sox after allowing two runs on six hits over eight frames.
