Those results allowed Murray to pass Roger Federer for the world No. 2 ranking while Ferrer passed Rafael Nadal for the fourth spot and Gasquet moved ahead of Janko Tipsarevic for ninth.

Federer, Nadal and Tipsarevic all dropped one spot in the rankings this week. It is the first time since Nov. 10, 2003, that both Federer and Nadal are outside the Top 2.

Novak Djokovic is still No. 1 with a point total of 12,370 while Murray is at 8,750 and Federer is third, 80 points behind Murray. Ferrer has 7,050 points and Nadal has 6,385 for fifth.

Tomas Berdych remained sixth with 5,145 points followed by No. 7 Juan Martin del Potro (4,705) with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (3,660) in eighth. Gasquet has 3,230 points and Tipsarevic 3,000.
