NBA: Dallas 100, Orlando 98

ORLANDO, Fla., March 30 (UPI) -- Dirk Nowitzki hit a jumper with 10 seconds remaining to cap a Dallas rally Friday and give the Mavericks a 100-98 win over Orlando.

Dallas trailed by as many as 15 points in the third period but came back to split their two games in as many nights in Florida. The Mavericks fell to Miami Thursday.

Delonte West, playing his second game after missing more than a month with a finger injury, hit two free throws with 1:03 left to put the Mavericks in front by one.

The only point Orlando managed after that came when Jameer Nelson converted 1-of-2 from the line to tie it with 27 seconds to go.

After a Dallas timeout, Nowitzki hit his fadeaway jumper for the last of his 28 points. Hedo Turkoglu tried and failed on a 3-point attempt for the Magic with 3 seconds remaining and Ryan Anderson misfired as well on a tip-in try before Ian Mahinmi grabbed the game-clinching rebound for Dallas.

Jason Terry had 17 points for the Mavericks and both Shawn Marion and West had 15.
