CLEVELAND, March 30 (UPI) -- Brandon Jennings made three of Milwaukee's 10 3-pointers Friday and led a hot shooting effort that brought the Bucks a 121-84 victory over Cleveland.
Milwaukee rushed to a 27-point lead at the half and moved within 1 1/2 games of New York for the final playoff position in the Eastern Conference.
The Bucks shot 56 percent from the field and hit 10-of-16 from long range. Jennings scored 28 points while Ersan Ilyasova had 20 points and 10 rebounds. Mike Dunleavy was 4-of-5 from beyond the arc and contributed 16 points.
Kyrie Irving scored 29 and hit a career-best six 3-pointers in the Cavaliers' sixth loss in a row.
The 71 points Milwaukee piled up over the first two quarters were the most for the Bucks in a half this season. Cleveland came no closer than 20 points in the second half.
