NBA: Los Angeles Lakers 105, Minnesota 102

MINNEAPOLIS, March 9 (UPI) -- Kobe Bryant scored the final four Los Angeles points from the foul line in the last 16 seconds Friday, lifting the Lakers to a 105-102 win over Minnesota.

The Timberwolves took a one-point lead with 28 seconds left on a tip-in by Nikola Pekovic but could not produce another point.

After Bryant made two free throws to put the Lakers ahead, Minnesota's Derrick Williams had a layup attempt blocked by Pau Gasol. Bryant then hit two more foul shots with 3 seconds remaining to clinch the win.

Bryant scored 34 points and moved past 29,000 for his career. It was the Lakers' 18th consecutive win over the Timberwolves.

Andrew Bynum added 26 points and 10 rebounds, helping the Lakers end a two-game skid.

Pekovic led Minnesota with 25 points and 10 rebounds. The Timberwolves played without Kevin Love, who was suffering from back spasms.

Minnesota had won three in a row.
