AUBURN HILLS, Mich., March 9 (UPI) -- Tayshaun Prince hit a jumper in the lane with 24.3 seconds remaining Friday that stood up as the winning points in Detroit's 86-85 decision over Atlanta.

Atlanta came back from a nine-point deficit in the fourth period to take an 85-84 advantage on a layup by Jeff Teague. Prince then hit his go-ahead basket and Atlanta's Joe Johnson misfired on a 3-pointer from the left corner as time expired.
