NBA: New York 99, New Jersey 92

NEW YORK, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- New York's Jeremy Lin scored a career-high 25 points Saturday and the Knicks rode his hot hand to a 99-92 win over New Jersey.

Lin, a second-year guard out of Harvard, put in 19 of his points in the second half, including 12 in the final quarter as the Knicks hung on for just their third win in 14 games.

Tyson Chandler and Amare Stoudemire netted 17 points apiece to help make up for an off night from Carmelo Anthony, who scored 11 on 3-of-15 shooting.

The Nets went down to their fourth loss in five contests despite 21 points and 11 assists from Deron Williams.

Kris Humphries added 20 points and 12 rebounds, and Jordan Farmar scored 19 off the bench for New Jersey.
