MLB: Toronto 7, Texas 3

TORONTO, July 31 (UPI) -- Edwin Encarnacion socked a two-run homer and Brandan Morrow fanned 11 Rangers Sunday in the Toronto Blue Jays' 7-3 win over Texas.

Encarnacion's blast in the first inning gave Toronto a lead it wouldn't relinquish and newly acquired Colby Rasmus chipped in with a two-run double for the Blue Jays.

Morrow (8-5) was sharp, yielding a pair of runs on six hits while walking two as the Blue Jays took the rubber match of a three-game weekend set against Texas.

Texas starter C.J. Wilson (10-5) was pounded for seven runs on seven hits before exiting after just 3 2/3 innings.

Mike Napoli went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs in the Rangers' loss.
