MLB: Texas 13, Baltimore 1 (2nd game)

BALTIMORE, April 10 (UPI) -- Adrien Beltre socked a two-run homer and drove in three runs Saturday, sparking the Texas Rangers to a 13-1 win and a split of a doubleheader with Baltimore.

Beltre also notched an RBI double, Nelson Cruz pounded a three-run homer and Josh Hamilton went 2-for-5 with a pair of RBI for Texas, which lost 5-0 to the O's in the day's first game.

The defending American League champs improved to 7-1 with the win.

Rangers starter and winner Matt Harrison (2-0) set down the final 18 batters he faced, allowing one run on two hits and a walk over seven innings.

Baltimore's Jake Arrieta (1-1) was pounded for eight runs on six hits and two walks over 3 1/3 innings.
