MLB: Texas at Baltimore, ppd., rain

BALTIMORE, April 8 (UPI) -- The scheduled game between Texas and Baltimore was rained out Friday, delaying the start of a series between the top two teams in the American League.

The Rangers and Orioles will play a doubleheader Saturday with the first game scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m. EDT.

Texas is the only unbeaten team remaining in the majors at 6-0. Baltimore has a 5-1 record.
