NBA: Phoenix 108, Golden State 97

PHOENIX, March 19 (UPI) -- Marcin Gortat led a balanced Phoenix attack Friday that overcame a 30-point effort by Dorell Wright and brought the Suns a 108-97 win over Golden State.

Gortat came off the bench to score 18 points and finished as one of five Phoenix players in double figures. Steve Nash, Channing Frye and Grant Hill all scored 17 points for the Suns, who ended a four-game losing streak. Nash added 10 assists.

Phoenix shot only 44 percent, but the Suns forced 21 Golden State turnovers and turned them into 24 points.

The Suns led by 19 going into the fourth quarter and the cushion dropped to no fewer than eight during the final 12 minutes.

Wright needed 21 shots to score his 30 points. David Lee had 16 for the Warriors, who have lost three straight.
