NBA: Sacramento 129, Golden State 119

SACRAMENTO, March 15 (UPI) -- Marcus Thornton sank four 3-pointers on his way to 42 points Monday and the Sacramento Kings bested Golden State 129-119.

Thornton went 13-of-20 from the field and 12-of-14 from the free throw line against his former team for the Kings, who ended a six-game losing streak.

Samuel Dalembert added 27 points and 16 rebounds and Sacramento shot 56.6 percent from the field, draining a total of eight treys in the victory.

Al Thornton came off the bench to put in 23 points for the Warriors.

Golden State's leading scorer, Monta Ellis, was held to 15 points on 6-of-16 shooting in the Warriors' first loss in three meetings with the Kings this season.
