NBA: Indiana 106, New York 93

NEW YORK, March 13 (UPI) -- Tyler Hansbrough poured in 29 points Sunday and the Indiana Pacers broke a six-game losing streak with a 106-93 victory over the New York Knicks.

Hansbrough went 12-of-20 from the field and grabbed eight rebounds for the Pacers, who shot a sizzling 57.1 percent and won for only the fourth time in 14 games.

Dahntay Jones added 18 points and Darren Collison provided 16 and eight assists for the Pacers.

Amare Stoudemire netted 28 points and Carmelo Anthony added 25 on 9-of-22 shooting for the Knicks, who fell to 6-5 since obtaining Anthony and Chauncey Billups from Denver in a blockbuster trade.

Billups returned from a six-game absence due to a bruised left thigh and was rusty, going 0-for-7 from 3-point range en route to nine points.
