NBA: Boston 107, Golden State 103

BOSTON, March 4 (UPI) -- Ray Allen's two free throws with 12 seconds left gave Boston a four-point lead Friday and allowed the Celtics to fight off Golden State 107-103.

Boston won its fourth straight game, getting 27 points from both Allen and Paul Pierce. The Celtics led by as many as 18 points in the third period before the Warriors put on a late charge.

Jeff Green, acquired by Boston in last week's big trade with Oklahoma City, had his best game since joining the Celtics. He scored 21 points off the bench while making 8-of-11 shots.

Monta Ellis hit 13-of-24 shots the field and 11-of-12 from the line in scoring 41 points to lead Golden State. The Warriors have dropped five out of six.

Boston shot 53 percent as a team, missed only 2-of-24 free throw tries and hit 7-of-18 from 3-point range.
