NBA: Boston 107, Utah 102

SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 28 (UPI) -- Ray Allen scored 10 of his 25 points late and Rajon Rondo hit a key jumper Monday, sparking the Boston Celtics to a 107-102 decision over Utah.

Allen connected on a pair of 3-pointers in the final 4 minutes and added a 23-footer with 53 seconds to go, giving the Celtics a 103-99 advantage.

After Al Jefferson cut Boston's lead to 103-101, Rondo (16 points, 11 assists) sank a jumper with 24 ticks remaining to seal the victory, the fifth in six games for the Atlantic Division-leading Celtics.

Paul Pierce added 21 points and seven rebounds and Kevin Garnett contributed 18 points and 14 rebounds for Boston.

Jefferson pumped in 28 points and hauled down 19 boards for the Jazz, who absorbed their seventh loss in eight contests.

Utah's Andrei Kirilenko netted 18 points and Paul Millsap added 17.
