COL BKB: Pittsburgh 57, Villanova 54

VILLANOVA, Pa., Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Brad Wanamaker scored 21 points Saturday and No. 4 Pittsburgh held on to break No. 10 Villanova's 46-game home winning streak with a 57-54 victory.

Nasir Robinson added 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds for Pitt (23-2, 11-1 Big East), which won for only the second time in 11 contests at The Pavillion in Villanova, Pa.

The Panthers led by six points with 1:08 remaining after Travon Woodall made a free throw, but Antonio Pena cut the Wildcats' deficit to only three with a 3-pointer with a minute left.

They could come no closer, however. Dominick Cheek missed a potential game-tying trey at the buzzer and Villanova (19-6, 7-5) lost for the first time at its on-campus gym since January 2007.

Mouphtaou Yarou led the Wildcats with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
