CHICAGO, Jan. 22 (UPI) -- Derrick Rose score 24 points Saturday, leading the Chicago Bulls past the NBA-worst Cleveland Cavaliers 97-79.
Rose also notched eight assists. Chicago, which has now won five of its last six games, also got a double-double from Luol Deng (20 points, 12 rebounds).

The Cavs went down to their 16th straight defeat despite Antawn Jamison's game-high 31 points. Jamison hit 12-of-22 shots, including 4-of-7 from 3-point range, and grabbed 11 rebounds.
J.J. Hickson contributed 13 points and 20 rebounds for the Cavaliers, who have an 8-34 record overall.
Chicago is third in the Eastern Conference with a 29-14 mark.
