NBA: Phoenix 106, Cleveland 98

CLEVELAND, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Steve Nash scored eight points over the final 3:49 Wednesday to help the Phoenix Suns fight off Cleveland 106-98.

Despite a fourth-quarter rally that saw them close within a single point, the Cavaliers lost their 14th consecutive game.

Grant Hill led the Suns with 27 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, sending Phoenix to its fourth straight win. The Suns are 2-0 on a five-game road trip.

Channing Frye contributed 18 for Phoenix, Marcin Gortat had 16 and Nash produced 15 points and 15 assists. Phoenix hit 20-of-21 from the foul line.

Cleveland got 23 points from Antawn Jamison and 19 from Ramon Sessions. The next chance the Cavaliers will have to end their streak will come Friday at home against Milwaukee.
