NBA: New York 100, Portland 86

PORTLAND, Ore., Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Amare Stoudemire had 23 points and eight rebounds Tuesday to help the New York Knicks knock off Portland 100-86.

Ronny Turiaf had 19 points and 10 rebounds, and Raymond Felton had 17 points and 14 boards for the Knicks, who picked up their 12th road win of the season -- one better than their total for road wins last season.


LaMarcus Aldridge led Portland with 19 points. The Blazers scored just 36 points in the second half and shot 34.9 percent from the field for the game compared to New York's 50 percent.
